Arrived at Bangkok!

After a mad start yesterday I arrived in Bangkok and writing this from my bed in the Downtown YHA. Yesterday I really was running out of time and only took the bus 40 minutes later than I wanted to. And if you’re late anyway, there’s always somebody who wants to make everybody else late, too (thanks to the suicider at Laim station).

Anyway, I got the plane, but it was not much waiting for check-in this time. I didn’t manage to set up all my electronic devices, so I ended up with a tablet with software missing, an ipod without email accounts and a mobile phone without tethering and somehow the T9 is broken, too (can’t select alternative words?!?). Boring stuff eh?

Luckily there was an internet terminal at the tourist information so I could find out the address of the hostel. And here I am, planning the next steps. It’s a bit strange here, the other guys in my 4 bed dorm don’t speak a word (one is playing online poker for hours). At least it’s room number 42! And this is post number 42! And week 42!

I hope to meet Ralf some evening (communication was a bit difficult). Maybe tonight?

Thinking about leaving Bangkok (not so flooded at all) on 23.10. for Bali, flying to Phuket on 31.10., taking the bus to Krabi on 02.11. to meet Tobias, a collegue from Erlangen. Then, flying from Krabi to Singapore on the 08.11. and to Perth on the  11.11. Seems like a rush to me.

PS: This keyboard is driving me mad! And yes, I would have added paragraphs, if it was possible.

PPS: Seems to be an Android problem. Pressing Return works just fine on my iPod…
